In this month of giving thanks,

St. Mary Nativity and Holy Cross took time

to thank our amazing volunteers with a special dinner

served by our parish staff. 

While ALL of our volunteers are deserving of highest praise, special recognition was given to:

Junior High Retreat! 

---

---

The 5th through 8th graders attended a G.O.A.T retreat

presented by Jenny Krumdrick.

She shared her “gratitude” glasses, showed our worth using a $100 bill,

and demonstrated how negative thoughts hammer us down while positive thoughts catapult us up. 

In small group we answered questions based on M & M colors

and worked together to untangle our human knot.

The most powerful part of the day for the ladies was Jenny’s all girl session.

We shared, we cried, we hugged, we came away with a better image of self

and the fact that God will always be our friend even if classmates let us down. 

The gentlemen who were with Jenny’s husband, Matt,

talked about the value of using our God given gifts and talents
